Any known issues sharing Printers between Vista and XP....

Any known issues sharing Printers between Vista and XP.  I have a printer attached to an XP machine.  Have shared it between 2 XP machines quite happily in the past.  The share is set-up, the drivers are up-todate.  I have replaced the second XP machine with a Inspirion 530 running Vista Home Premuim.  THe newtwork is fine - i have copied files quite happily from one machine to the other.  I can see the printer from the Vista machine but when try to use it get "Windows can not access this printer,  Access is denied'.
The printer is an HP deskjet - it needs a parallel port so needs to stay on the XP machine.

An issue with the Share - an XP vs Vista issue ?  i/deas very welcome.

Im using a usb print server and a hp jeskjet I would get the same error message
and also a printer conn fail I went to hp and downloaded a vista version driver for the
printer and also there were firewall issues and security blocks as well. It was a pain
