Hi,

Web browser toolbars like Babylon Toolbar are optional and they are enabled by default in most cases. Once the software is installed the web browser shows an extra bar below the address bar, hence, it cannot disrupt the internet connection on your system.

I would suggest you to browse the internet with a different web browser like Mozilla Firefox.
If the issue still persists, please reset Internet Explorer using the Microsoft fixit http://bit.ly/b27Ik3

Please reply.

Thanks and Regards

Hi,

Thanks for the information. Seems that the internet connection is there, but you are not able to browse. Please try accessing the internet in Safe Mode with Networking.
To boot the computer in safe mode, please switch on the computer and start tapping the F8 key which would take you to Advanced Boot Option screen. Using the up and down arrow key, select Safe Mode with Networking to boot the computer into Safe Mode with Networking.

Check if you are able connect to the internet in Safe Mode with Networking  using any one of the browsers in the system.

Please reply with the results.

Thanks and Regards

Bigbill1965, are you still having a problem with the Babylon Toolbar? It is considered malware by some security experts. Your additional issues may be a result of the this -- perhaps from an incomplete uninstall thus leaving remnants that have compromised the system. I would suggest that you post on the Virus & Spyware forum for additional advice in dealing with this.
