Hi jagatjyoti,

Welcome to the Community.

First we need to confirm if the wireless card is getting detected in device manager.

Go to Device manager, click on plus symbol next to network adapters  and see if the wireless card is listed.

If it is not listed check and see if it shows other devices  and has Network controller listed.

If it has network controller listed, you would need to install the driver for the wireless card from www.support.dell.com.

In case both wireless card or network controller is not listed in device manager, you would need to reseat the wireless card and see if that helps.

For help to reseat the wireless card use the link below:

support.dell.com/.../minicard.htm

Check for removing WLAN card.

Hope this helps,

Thank You

Roshan.

usern5110,

Download the System Information Tool If using Vista/Windows 7, the tool needs extracted. Once extracted, right click on sysinfo and run as administrator.

If using XP, double click on the tool, then double click on sysinfo.

Allow this past your virus program and post the information back here.
