BCM Modem - driver?
I have a 4600 with a BCM V92 56K modem, and I was looking for a driver update and the Dell website says I've got a Conexant 56K V.9x DFVc, a Conexant/Asus SmartHSFI V92 56K PCI modem or an Interl 537E,V9x,PCI,modem. Is one of these another name/description of the BCM modem? This is the modem which came with my computer about 6 months ago.

Dell's most recent drier release for the BCM modem i version 3.5.24. The others you are seeing are updates they have released for other modems. For the 4600, they have not released and update for the BCM modem, so I'd assume your driver is 3.5.24.
Microsoft Windows Update site lists a BCM modem update in its critical files area. Users have said the update is to BCM drier version 3.5.25, but that it is essentially the same as version 3.5.25. This update has not been released by Dell.
