Bluetooth can't remember pairing with cell phone
I've got an Inspiron 300m, with the internal truemobile bluetooth module. Whenever I try to connect to the phone, I get asked for a passcode on the laptop. After I enter the passcode, the phone also asks for the passcode, then it asks me if I want to pair the devices. Basically, the normal pairing procedure.
The problem is, this happenes every single time I try to use the darn thing. It's getting annoying. I have the cell phone paired persistently with other devices with no problem, it's only this computer that can't remember its pairing. Is there a way to make the pairing info persistant using the Dell bluetooth software?

My problem is not pairing a phone, but pairing a Palm Tungsten T3. I can pair OK with a Dell Inspiron 5100/Belkin Bluetooth USB adapter, an Apple Powerbook G4/Bluetooth builtin and a Dell Latitude D600/Bluetooth builtin.
However the D600 requires me to authenticate every connection whereas the other two remember the pairing and connect immediately every time I want to HotSynch.
I believe I have the latest Dell software for the D600.
