Bluetooth for Studio 1747 Puzzlement
I want to add a bluetooth module. My manual indicates that the Dell 365 module is the chip, but upon opening, there is no matching plugin. Instead there is a plugin matching the Dell 370 Bluetooth Card. (Broadcom Mini PCI-E)
What did Dell pull on me? Is this a newer/older board? Will the 370 work? Where do I find the wire for the back of the card?

Pradeep,
Thanks for the response. The slim 365 that shows for this 1747 has a square connector about 1/3 in on the card. However, this 1747 has no such connector available!
Instead it has the multipin like the WiFi labeled WWAN. (8 pin - gap - 18 pin).
I will try the number, but this is baffling. Why would Dell change board?

Yep. That is the card THAT WILL NOT WORK. There is no place on the board to plug it in. The 365 card will not work. The board on my Studio 1747 does not agree with the manual.
Again, what card will work if the 370 will not? The 370 has the right pins to fit.

Hi,
We suggest you not to use as the 370 Bluetooth card is not compatible with studio 1747 system. We recommend you to use USB Bluetooth adapter as system is end of life and limited options of upgrade. However, if you think Bluetooth 370 card has the right pins to fit. You can install it up to your discretion.

Still no answer as to why Dell changed boards. Did not need bluetooth before so I was surprised Dell cheaped out on this. 2nd, I did not just get off the turnip truck - 20+ years in IT. I do know what I am looking at on the board. The 365 connections are non-existant!! It has the 370 pinouts with the arrow above WWAN pointing to the pins.
I will debate trying the 370.
