Bluetooth Headset Problems with Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Module

I get a "Detection of service failed" error in the Toshiba Stack "Add New Coonection Wizard" after entering my SonyEricsson HBH-300 PIN (0000).  The device is discovered no problem (even has a nice little earpiece icon).

The Module is working fine since I can connect to my T610 phone and sync my phone book.

Thanks in advance to anyone with ideas or solutions.

I've got exactly the same problem here.

My Nokia 6230i can pair with my Inspirion 9300 no problem.
But my Plantronics M2500 headset cannot - error: "Detection of service failed".

This is because the Toshiba Bluetooth stack doesn't support the service type 'Headset'. I haven't found an update to this on the Toshiba site, and the newest available from Dell [see link at end of post] is the same version I'm already running.

I have no problem pairing the Headset and Laptop under Ubuntu Linux using Bluez.

So now just waiting for an update from Dell or Toshiba on the Bluetooth stack.
If anyone knows a way round this, please post it here.

Cheers,
Salis.
