Hi

Are you running XP SP2 on D505?

Which Dell bluetooth module is installed on D505? (300 or 350)

If XP SP2 is used, try using Microsoft Stack instead of the Dell Bluetooth Stack.

I am having a similar problem with a Latitude D600. The drivers currently loaded for Bluetooth support are the Dell TrueMobile Blutooth module, (Provider: Microsoft; Driver Date: 8/3/2004; Driver Version: 5.1.2600.2180), and the Microsoft Bluetooth Emumerator (???), same provider, date and version number. I can "see" my Bluetooth headset, but the PC wants to assign it to COM12.

I had read elsewhere that this is stack problem with support of the headset spec, but the only Bluetooth driver I can see for this system on the Dell support site is for Personal Networking, with no mention of headsets.

Please advise. Any assistance is appreciated, as I have a few company execs to set up the same way, all with D600s.
