if you have BT card and correctly installed drivers then you should have an icon next to the clock in systray plus in device manager under network adapters.

look at the link below to check to see if a BT card is actually installed.

you can order one from dell by phoning their spare parts department.

you can order either a Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Internal Module or Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Module (Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR).

Please note that before ordering you should double check that the cabling to install the card to is present or else you'll have to order the cabling as well.

Yep the cable is there.  I'll have to give them a call this week. Thank you very much!

I called Dell Spare Parts earlier this month and they were clueless about locating the BT355 in their database.

Does anyone have the Item Number for the BT355?

Before you buy the internal bluetooth card from Dell, check if you can actually use it to connect the Inspiron to Nokia. I have an Inspiron E1505/6400 and have given up on making it work with Nokia PC Suite. I have checked a few other forums and have found out that this problem is not restricted to me. Apparently, the Inspirons don't work well with Nokia PC Suite. You might be better off using an external Bluetooth device to connect with your Nokia phone.

I am trying to use Bluetooth in Inspiron 6400 to sync with my PDA. I looked at the CMOS and it indicated that the Bluetooth is enabled.  What does this mean?

I also checked to see if a BT card is installed internally, and there is none.

Can anyone suggest to me what would be the best approach to do Bluetooth sync with my PDA?

Thanks
