Bluetooth is not working

Hello friends!

I have Dell Vostro 1550 Laptop.

Os- window 7 ,32 bit

Earlier I had window 7,64 bit on my laptop ,when I install 32 bit window on it after a clean format,Everything work perfectly except the bluetooth.

I tried several bluetooth drivers but none of them fix my problem.I received an error while installing the bluetooth driver that the" system has been modified can't install the driver".when I tried another driver then it says please activate bluetooth first ,when I did so by pressing the function keys then a message appears on the screen saying "starting bluetooth" after few minutes the msg disappears and nothing happens,it doesn't start the bluetooth.I am very confused what is the problem.Kindly help me.

Hi Shaily,

I’d suggest that you update the wireless card driver on your computer to check for issue resolution.

Please follow the link below. When the page comes up please put in the service tag of your computer. Then go ahead and download the wireless card driver from Network section, after selecting the operating system installed on your computer, from the link below.

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanx  for reply

I did as u said but this doesn't solve my problem completely .After doing so ,the bluetooth sw driver is not installed properly and i got a yellow exclamation mark on PCI simple communication controller.I then uninstall bluetooth drivers and reboot my system. On rebooting the bluetooth drivers start installing on their own.Now two drivers were failed to install :-one is Bluethooth RFCOMM  and other is Bluetooth Personal Area Network(PAN).Now I can connect my system to my mobile phone and can play music via bluetooth but I can't send or receive any kind of file from mobile to laptop or vice versa.

On again trying bluetooth window installer package  it gives me an" internal error 2753. F84988_btins.dll " and stop installing.what should I do now??

Please send me a private message with the computer's service tag, Name registered during the system purchase and email address so that I can check the Bluetooth card configured with your system and suggest you correct driver.
