Bluetooth Mouse M-RBB-DEL4
I got a new laptop and have XP on this new system. I have the bluetooth mouse from my old laptop. This new one only partially works on the mouse. I cannot use the scroll button in the middle. I can push it down but not use it to scroll at all. It works on another system just fine. What do I need to do to get the scroll button to work properly on this laptop?

What model is your new laptop?
Have you checked the mouse properties in Control Panel? Have you installed any drivers you got with the mouse?
If you didn't get any, try reinstalling the chipset drivers - which should be on a CD you got with the laptop?
Or you can download the latest drivers from your laptop's 'Drivers & Downloads' page on the Dell website (linked to under 'Support', at the bottom of this page).

I have the Dell Studio 1537. I am running Windows XP so that means that Dell will not help or have any drivers for it. However the Mouse is from the old laptop which was XP Media Center Edition. It did not come with any drivers for the mouse or keyboard it came with. The mouse is working for the most part, the only thing that doesn't work is the scroll wheel. It works when I push it down and everything but not when I scroll with it.

I have the exact same mouse that I bought for my XPS M1710. The system sees it as a standard 2-button mouse. The scroll wheel does nothing at all. It used to work partially with Vista SP1. It would disconnect every so-often and I'd have to reinstall. The wheel would work some of the time and then all of a sudden stop working. Now with SP2, there's no wheel at all. I have to disable a mysterious HID compliant mouse in the device manager to keep the mouse connected at all times:
SP2 was supposed to have vast improvements to bluetooth stability, but I've found the opposite to be true.

I have an XPS M2010 laptop using Windows 7/ 64 bit operating system. I found that following the Dell instructions outlined in the "How to Use the Drivers and Downloads Website" (section 4) needs to be followed very closely with the single exception:
Even if you're using Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit), select Windows Vista, 32 bit. This will pull up the needed drivers (one for the Bluetooth 350 Internal Module and one for a patch for the internal module. Both drivers should be downloaded. Depending on your computer and operating system, the driver may be something other than a "350" internal module. a 355 is used for the XPS M1730 for example.
I downloaded both drivers R142181 (driver for Internal Bluetooth module) and R161000.exe. After unzipping, use the install wizard to install the driver for the bluetooth module first. After the install has completed successfully, click on the Bluetooth icon on the taskbar to add a device. All Bluetooth devices must be discoverable, meaning the Bluetooth lights must be flashing on the keyboard and the Bluetooth indicator on the top of the mouse must be flashing. Read the Owner's manual on how to make a Bluetooth device discoverable if you need to. It's pretty simple: just hold down the button on the front edge of the keyboard until the Bluetooth lights start flashing and hold down the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the mouse until the Bluetooth indicator on top of the mouse begins flashing. After clicking on the Bluetooth icon, click the "Add a device option" and then enter the code displayed by typing in the numbers from the keyboard. This tells the Wizzard that it is connecting to the correct Bluetooth device. Follow similar steps for the mouse. The mouse won't require a PIN or code to be entered from the keyboard. That's it. It worked really well, but I am surprised that drivers designed for Vista 32 will work for Windows 7, 64 bit OS.
