Bluetooth not Appearing in Device Manager

From previous experience the bluetooth entry appears in the Device Manager when the wireless network is enabled (i.e when Fn+F2) is used to toggle the state. Now (I'm not sure how long it was like this) the bluetooth device no longer appears in Device Manager.

Any Ideas as to what could be causing this?

Also the little blue light at the bottom right corner of the display no longer lights when the wireless radio is active (or appears active in it's config, I don't have a wireless network... yet)

could these things be related??

I have checked that the bluetooth module is enabled in BIOS and that the Fn+F2 hotkey is set but that does nothing.

Tanks for Helping.
