Hi Eugene, I have pretty much the same problem. Last night I thought I had it solved but it's still a problem. I've had this system just about 2 weeks and like you I see the Windows Device manager "lose" the Dell Wireless 355 Module from the list - "ding" gone then "ding" back again sometimes in rapid succession. Dell support have not been succesful at fixing this. We've tried a new internal module, reinstall drivers, stack and software and even a complete restore - pretty much everything. At one point they sent me the 350 module (by accident!) and that worked fine. I still have that module for a few more days before I ship it back. I "suspect" that there is a an updated driver from broadcom (who make the BT module) - If I can't get this resolved in the next week, I'll be returning this E1705/9400. This has been a frustrating experience. So take heart you're not alone. So what is the solution guys!?!

I don't think I would get to the point of wishing to return my new laptop just because of this little Blue Tooth module. It doesn't happen too often - maybe once or twice a day now. But, yeah, assume that you're giving a presentation which would change your life and the dinging would start... I really have no idea, but it appears to me that the bluetooth is more stable when there are no bluetooth devices in range and when I am not using the programs that have the potential of transmitting information through Bluetooth. It might be just me. I had a problem of Bluetooth always waking my laptop up from the Stand By, but I resolved this problem by changing the setting in the BIOS that allowed USB device to wake the computer up.

Also, does anyone observe this thing: when the laptop starts and the screen turns black and then shows Welcome Screen, or any other time when the monitor is refreshed, you can see a little wave going from any part to the top right corner. I may assume that it is just the liquid crystals being refreshed and the little visible wave forms due to the electic charges. So is it normal?

Thanks everyone for your help.

Eugene.
