You create it much as as WPA key with wireless.

When I paired my axim I just picked a 4 digit number like 1234 or such and put it into both machines, same with my bluetooth phone and my laptop... From the reply post maybe pc to pc is more complex, but try using the same code for both yourself and your friend and see what happens.
