Bluetooth stopped working

I am unable to use my bluetooth on my Insperon 1750. It suddenly stopped working and the icon disappeared.

The adaptor is DELL BLUETOOTH 365

Have tried to reinstall widcomm bluetooth software and get a message which says turn on wirless adaptor which is already on.

i am presently using a belkin bluetooth USB key which is working OK

Do you think that the bluetooth adaptor card could be useless
