Hi psagar7,

Check the BIOS to ensure the wireless card is detected. Also verify the Wireless setting is turned on and not set to Always Off.

If the Bluetooth device is installed, also verify the radio is enabled. You can turn the wireless and Bluetooth cards on or off using the F2 key.

I recommend, uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth drivers from device manager:

  • From the Start screen, swipe up and tap the All apps icon.
  • If you have a mouse, right-click on the Start screen and then click All apps.
  • Once on the Apps screen, scroll or swipe to the right until you see the Windows System heading.
  • Tap or click on Control Panel, located under Windows System.
  • Windows 8 will bring up the Desktop and automatically open the Control Panel.
  • Tap or click on the Hardware and Sound link.
  • Note: You won't see Hardware and Sound if your Control Panel view is set to Large icons or Small icons.
  • In the Hardware and Sound window, click or tap Device Manager, located under the Devices and Printers heading.
  • In the “Device Manager” window, click the plus sign next to “Bluetooth Radios”to expand it.
  • Right click on sub option, click “Uninstall”.
  • Check the box “Delete driver software for this device”, click ok and follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall audio driver.
  • Restart the computer.

Also, install the Bluetooth drivers from the below mentioned link:

Install the file in compatibility mode.

  • From the "Start" or "Apps" Screen Right click or press and hold on a single program to check it, and click/tap on Open file location.
  • Right click or press and hold on a program's shortcut (LNK), EXE, or MSI file on your desktop or in Windows Explorer, and click/tap on Properties.
  • Click/tap on the Compatibility tab.
  • To Run a Program in Compatibility Mode in Only your User Account, click/tap on the Run this program in compatibility mode for box to check it.
  • Click/tap on the drop down menu arrow and select which version of Windows the program was written for.
  • When finished, click/tab on OK to apply the changes.

Awaiting your response!

Hey man!

Did you look into your drivers?

One of my friends told me - your 50% problem will solve with the updated Drive, It was silly for me that time, but I got stuck someday in my USB port, thought to give a try.

Jesus! It worked like charm! Best of luck.

Thanks me if works, lol

Happy to hear you that it worked for you too! Though I am not using my dell for daily official work(I use Mac now) I like the Dell products because of the durability, I bought it in 2012,
