Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller Driver

I'm trying to update the driver which is a 3.63.0.0 version.  I've ran the R64645.EXE which seemed to run successfully.  However, I can't uninstall the old one and get the new one to run.  I can uninstall and then try to reinstall and it tells me that the driver that is installed is the latest one..???  Can anyone give me a step by step process for getting the new driver to 'take'?
TIA,
Jim in Missouri

This is a Dell Dimension 2350 - I don't know why the current driver went to the yellow/black exclamation point...

You have to manually go ino the Drivers folder an delete the old drive.  I ran into this same problem a week or so ago.  I deleted the old drive file, rebooted and pointed to the new file.

Thanks for the info!  Do you know which driver it is (file name)?  I wouldn't want to delete a wrong one...
