Broadcom 440x adaptor - dimension 2400

Hello.

 

I hope seomone can help. For some reason my network adpator is not listed as a device, I can't get it to be recognised at all... the lights are on at the back, the embedded adaptor switch is activated in the BIOS and I have the latest BIOS.
