Broadcom netlink gigabit ethernet driver

The broadcom netlink gigabit ethernet driver isn't always loading on startup. Was working fine before but now I have to do 2 or 3 restarts to get it to load. Has anyone any ideas how to get it to load all the time at startup.

Thanks

Thanks for link I didn't realise this was such a problem.

I don't actually have the XPS 8300, I'm on a Vostro 460 but with all the exact same problems.

I've only had it since September and after reading what others have gone through I'll get Dell to collect and fix under the guarantee.

What gets me I've been talking to Dell tech support for the last 2 days trying different things. Yet this is obviously a known problem and no one at support advised me that I'd need to get it collected and fixed.

Thanks again for saving me from another frustrating day.

I would assume you have a XPS 8300 desktop?  If so, welcome to the club.  see above link.
