C521 Wireless Adapter?

Question

Hi, does anyone know if I can get a wireless adapter for my new C521 without going USB?  Apparently this computer only takes 'low profile' things in the slots and the Linksys we bought with the machine does not fit.  I had heard if you use a USB wireless adapter it burns up the USB port?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

yes you can get a PCI wireless card for the computer but note that the C521 has only one PCI slot, so ensure that the slot is free before you purchase a card. i have heard about some wireless cards that are PCIe compatible but not sure how good they are
