Cannot access wireless router anymore

Question

I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 notebook with a Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini Card. I also have a Westell Versalink 327W router with wireless capabilities. When I first turned the computer on (got it about 2 days ago), it picked up the router and was shown as the WEP # in the 'View Available Wireless Networks' window, but i didn't know how to find the network key for it back then, and now, after reading up on it, I do. ANYWAY, when I open the Available Wireless Networks window now, it does not show up, only a linksys router, that is in my sister's room next door, and is disconnected... I don't know what happened to it, and I would very much like to have wireless internet- much more convienient :). Can someone please help me?
