skdc14,

Code 10 is a drivers issue. Did you recently install/reinstall/upgrade the operating system?

Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER and post the information back here.

What virus program and firewall are you using?

Sir

The fourth one- Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface is yellow and status is This device cannot start. (Code 10)  I have solved the problem but still cannot connect through wifi.

If I try to connect, no wifi symbols comes.

For your information I could connect through wifi initially but from last two days I cannot. So may be some configuration got changed which I cannot locate .

Thanks.

skdc14,

Did the system ever connect? I see that Windows 7 is not supported on this system.

Download and install in this order in the XP SP2 Compatibility mode

Dell Notebook System Software Utility

Intel Mobile Chipset, v.Vista32/XP v8.2.0.1014, A00

driver for Dell Wireless 1370/1470/1390/1490/1505/1395 WLAN Mini-Card

Before installing the driver for the wireless adapter, go to device manager, right click on Dell wireless 1395, left click uninstall. Tell it to remove the software and drivers.

Restart your computer. Then install the drivers for the adapter.

The gor to device manager, dell wireless 1395, advanced, antenna diversity. Change it from auto to aux.

If that does not work, the wireless adapter may need reseated and/or replaced. Read page 33 in the Inspiron 1525 Owners Manual

Sir

I use to do internet from my laptop both by wifi and by using a wire line. From the last few days I cannot connect through wifi.  The system sometimes tries to connect through wifi but fails.

You are telling me to uninstall Dell wireless 1395 but I dont have the driver software, Will I be able to download from Dell website?

Thanks.

Sir, as I am a layman in this area asking you again. Do I have to uninstall ? What are the things I have to uninstall ?

Please guide me step by step what to uninstall and what to install.

Thanks again for giving your valuable time on me.

skdc14,

Try the above drivers installation or try Philip's method.

Repair your connection. Try...

Start, all programs, accessories, right click on command prompt, left click run as administrator. Type

netsh winsock reset catalog

This will reset the winsock catalog

Power off your ISP modem/router and your wireless router (if any) for 30 seconds. Then power on the ISP modem/router. Wait 15 seconds, then power on the wireless router (if any)

Restart the computer and try to connect.

What happens?

Rick
