XP?  Recently upgrade to SP2?  If so, remove the 1300's Device Manager entry, reboot, and let it be found and loaded again.  Then try to connect.

I'm still on SP1, the computer that is hooked up to the router was just updated to SP2 - I'm not sure if that has an impact on the network though, because we have another computer in the house that is still on SP1 and works fine wirelessly.

I tried removing the Device Manager entry and rebooting, but I dont think it worked.  After I let the card be found again, its still not connecting.  The balloon is now calling it "Wireless Connection 3" and says that the connection is still unavailable.  I'm not sure if the card is broken or if theres an issue with my network configuration.

Hi,  on the desktop computer get into the routers web utility by typing in 192.168.2.1 in IE. using admin as default username and password. then on the page click basic settings and then wireless settings. try chaging the channel numbers ( preferablly 1,6,11), even if this does not work, reset the router and reconfigure it.

Thanks for all your help so far.

I tried switching the network's channel but it didnt do anything.  I upgraded my drivers for the PC Card, and when I am in the Utility software OR Net Stumbler (sniffer program), I can see my wireless network.  Windows does not recognize it though, and when I click on the icon in the taskbar, a little screen pops up (where I would usually pick the network and password) but it is greyed out and never shows the networks.

I'm starting to think that this is a software problem dealing with Windows, as opposed to a hardware issue.  Any ideas for what I should try next?
