I looked over my security settings , level set on medium , the right boxes where checked at least to the best of my knowledge , I even spoke to a dell tech earlier who prompted me to do the same as other tech's, the problem unfortunately still exists, I really can't figure it out, I can't even order a book online..this page cannot display appears when i try to "check out", i can't even check my email at netscape.com from my laptop?, I keep looking at my settings over and over, are the right boxes checked, my laptop has 128 bit , what is preventing me from viewing all sites? any advice would greatly be appreciated , this one seems like a doozy,absolutely no one can figure it out.
Do you have IE set so that you'll accept cookies? Are you running any Internet Security programs or firewalls (e.g. ZoneAlarm?)? If so, you may have to adjust your settings there. I have ZoneAlarm, and I have to modify (lower) my settings in order to view certain secure sites, because the sites have to put a cookie on my pc...
I do have ie , i will look at the settings again, but its like a crazy cycle, as you can see i am still trying to solve this matter, thanx for the advice i will look into it and ley you know
those steps worked! , thanx , i can now view secure web pages........yeah!! , wow , this drove me bonkers for days, no one could figure it out , THANX !!!! such a relief!
