Can't connect to internet

Hi all,

 

I'm a newbie to this. I have a Latitude D505 and i have wireless access point hooked up to a router. My PSP system is able to connect and recieve information, but my laptop can only send information but doesn't recieve any information packets. I need some help on how to fix it. Thanks!
