Can't connect to internet

Question

Had computer files cleaned at Circuit City and had no problems getting on the internet while in the store. Now that I'm home I get an error message saying that access to IP is being blocked by firewall. I checked the settings and every thing looks OK. What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to use my wireless device and my home router security does not have password protection.

OK. I'm a rookie here so where do I find this information?  So how do I find my wireless router admin?

Your wireless device most likely is filtering MAC addresses and wont provide an IP address to your laptop. you should be able to access your wireless routers admin and see if it detects your notebook MAC address attempting to access your wireless network. If so then you have to tell the security that it is OK for this device.
