Can't create wireless network on Dimension E520.
Hello
I have a Dell Dimension E520 that has always been online by being plugged in via ethernet cable, however now I need it to run wireless. I have a Linksys Wireless SpeedBooster G USB card that I have plugged in. However, when it comes to adding a new internet connection in Windows XP, I am unable to add a wireless one. The only connection I have in network connections is the local area one. I have gone through the wireless network wizard which is completely useless and doesn't even create a network. I am using Qwest highspeed internet and the wireless network is protected by a WEP. Basically I just want to be able to create a wireless network and then i'm assuming it will find the networks around and I can join, but I am unable to create just a basic wireless network in network connections. I've gone through the wizard multiple times but all it does is bring me to a window that eventually says "finish" and once you click finish no network is ever created even though I have typed in all the information for it.
Thanks for any input you guys can share, i'd like to get this up and running.
Thanks

rovert123,
The usb adapter will connect better if you use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings, I use channel 11.
You do have .net framework, windows updates, custom updates. Do you also Download Latest Java?
I have these settings and have no probkems connecting any wireless devices.
