can't get online!

Hi All:
 
I've used netzero for years.  I have no problem getting online with my laptop.  Using my Dimension 850 I cannot.  I dial, it connects, checks name and password, tells me I'l online then redials.  I go through the whole thing over and over.
 
I have a new modem, downloaded the latest version of netzero, have no firewall and went through all the help files from netzero.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Thanks for using the Dell Community Forum.

If you are connecting to Netzero then more than likely the modem is working correctly.  I would recommend contacting Netzero and see what they can tell you.

As I mentioned tho, Netzero has sent a few lists of remedies, none of them work.  I'm at my wit's end!
