CANT STOP DIALING NOISE
New 5150 with internal modem. Even with the volume slider set to off......the dialing noise is as loud as ever. How do you COMPLETELY turn down the modem dialing noise ?

Try turning down/off the volume in the modem properties. To do this, go to control panel, select modems, and there should be an option to turn down/off the dialing noise.
