Change of IP Address & Gateway on XPS M1710 fails to connect to Interenet
My XPS M1710 with XP SP2 has worked faultlessly for 12 months over our wireless network. I want to add a Yoggie Gatekeeper SOHO firewall onto the router. The Yoggie becomes the gateway and also becomes the DHCP server, instead of the router. The other PCs are ok with this and work properly. However the M1710 although renewing the network addresses refuses to connect to the internet and cannot ping any other device on the network - although they can ping it! Ipconfig /all, ARP, and Netstat all give correct results. I can't think where else to look, but it is obviously a problem with the XPS. The original IPA/Gateway are in the 192.168.2.x range, and the new ones are 192.168.4.x. Any help would be appreciated.

It a reasonable lease time which provides easier DHCP management for our products and helps keep the IP database small.
This factor should not have any influence on the connectivity.
If we'll recognize a problem with this issue in the future, it will added to the features of our products.
