I just bought a B130  laptop not being aware that the slot for external cards are for express cards only.  Really perturbed me off that Dell did'nt mention this on the menu.  I have TMobile and they said the express cards are coming out some time in July.  The PCMCIA CARDS ARE GOING TO BE A THING OF THE PAST, so I'm holding on to my B130 and praying that the new cards work.

And That's That

I purchased the Novatel U730 card not realizing that I had ordered a B130 with an Express card slot. Very "preturbed" to say the least!!! Dell told me that the GPRS(or cellular phone) express cards would be available at the end of March.... Well we are near the middle of April.... and NO CARDS!!

I emailed somebody at expresscard.com and sierra wireless. A lady at Sierra says that the cards will not be available until 2007!!! Unreal

Anyone hear any other news?
