Computer crashing when connecting to web

I have just inserted a ‘TP-Link WN951’ wireless card into my Inspiron 531 (Vista) and followed the Virgin set-up to the T. Signal strength and all other settings of my wireless connection are fine. I then connect to the internet using IE and my home page appears as usual. The second I move the mouse it stops responding then the screen turns into motionless fuzzy stripes. I rebooted the machine and played with other software which work fine, when I try to use the internet the same thing happens.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Please help!

Aslo, check to see if that device and/or driver is Vista compatible.  You might also try running the driver in XP compatibility mode.

Does your wireless adapter have a diagnostic option? if yes, run it to know if it is a possible hardware issue.

Did you ever resolve this problem? I have exactly the same symptoms on my 531.
