Make sure Universal Plug And Play Device Host, Plug And Play, and Human Interface Device Access, are set too automatic. In Services.msc. “Found New Hardware” Should Show up And Your Good to go.
EVDO or Evolution Data Only,Evolution Data Optimized, often abbreviated as EVDO, EV-DO, EvDO, 1xEV-DO or 1xEvDO, is a fast wireless broadband access (3G) without needing a WiFi hotspot (a common misspelling is EDVO). You are the hotspot. You can have fast internet access, anywhere. No need to find a hotspot. For example, get high speed internet access in a car, train, clients, anywhere you can open your laptop.
Verizon is what I have. Tmobile and Sprint and other vendors have similar packages and prices. Verizon however in my area "east coast" USA has the best coverage.
Regular cellular used as Dial up is 14400bps at best and more like 2400 baud most of the time. Really really expensive SLOWWWWWWW internet for a Lot of $$$$$$.

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.
I am sorry to say, I don’t know anything about how you’re going to be able to do that.

Older phones dont really support this or if they do you pay thru the noze for low speed.
internet.
Verizon and blackberry have a solution thats one phone that does it all. Model 7130e aka EVDO Or something like that.
Look for nationwide wireless broadband from verizon or Sprint or Tmobile ETC.
I use a cardbus card in my dell and it works great. Others I know use the cell phone too so they get the new blackberry.
