Connected but not connected ???

Question

My Dell Dimension 4700 desktop tells me that I am connected to my wireless network.

My Dell Latitude laptop tells me that it is connected to my wireless network and that

transmission is "excellent."

However, my laptop cannot find a server whereas my PC CAN find a server.

Makes no sense. HELP !

Could be the wireless can see the network but the proper security code/mode has been entered. Log into the router and see what you have set up and duplicate on the laptop

what do you mean that your PC can find the server?   are you able to connect to the internet?

My wireless laptop was able to go online about two weeks ago. I have not changed the security code or anything else. When I log into the router I get the Netgear website. It does not prompt me for anything nor does it tell me anything about the setup (which I have not changed).

Network Troubleshooting tells me that my Belkin flash card is working properly.

The mystery continues.

I can go online using my desktop. I cannot go online using my wireless  laptop.

Please do this, then copy and paste what you see on your screen here: Open a cmd window Type the command ipconfig /all
