Connecting my notebook to my printer wirelessly

Ok this is my problem, I have a notebook with a wireless network card installed inside and a printer with a wireless network card installed on it. The only internet service in my area is dial-up, no cable or DSL. Can I still use a wireless access point or router to connect my notebook to my printer wirelessly?

you should be able to connect to the printer using an AD-HOC network setup.....google ad-hoc and you will find instructions on how to set it up...

If you aren't using your LAN/WLAN to connect to the internet and have configured the network correctly you should be able to print with a "network" printer using a route/access point.
