Thanks for responding.

I am using the Windows utility.  When doing a ipconfig the screen pops up and just as fast is gone.

Which utility are you using to connect?  The Windows uility or the supplied with some third party adpater?

Can you post the results of an ipconfig /all?

Try this:

ipconfig /all >> C:\ipconfig.txt

This will create a text file onthe root (C Drive).  Copy and paste that.

It still pops up the screen for a brief second, however it did not create a .txt file on the root.  Tried multiple times to make sure I was entering it correctly, with the same results each time.

There is some spacing in the command line.  Make sure you get it down properly.

Yeah I caught those.  Same thing however.  Also I've noticed it doesnt find my network every time too, even when sitting right next to it.  It does connect when plugged in with Lan.

Ok thank you for your help.  I fixed it and it was an extremly stupid problem.  I was in my admin settings for the router taking off the pass key thinking that might help when I noticed that it was set to G only.  Well the intel pro/wireless thats built into mine uses B. So I just changed my router settings to be mixed.  Sorry for the trouble and thanks for taking the time to try and help me.
