Did you leave your printer connected to a USB port when you reinstalled?  If so, disconnect the printer and reinstall the software for the printer, then plug it back in.

As for the ISDN modem, the same thing might apply if it is external.  You should always unplug any external devices before reinstalling Windows. Once the installation is complete, follow the directions for installing the external device.

I ended up having to go into Device Manager and forcing the software to install. I still have no idea what that A920 thing is, but it doesn't pop up saying it has problems anymore either, and I didn't do anything with it at all. That bothers me since I am a technician, and I have no clue what made the error go away.

Now I just get these lovely times where sometimes typing a URL in the address bar doesn't work and won't make IE move. Or occasionally I get an error stating some service has closed (I forget the name of it offhand but it has 32 at the end of it) and then the internet doesn't work at all. Or task manager simply won't show up when I open it, but WILL prevent the computer from restarting due to being unresponsive. Only reason I have come up with for any of this so far is that Dell computers a problematic. No other computer company baffles me nearly so often (not even gateway or micron). :)
