connection problems
I have a inspiron 6000, several weeks ago I was given a program that would aliminate a serch engine on my computer (fixwareout) after I rebooted the computer I wasn't able to get access to the internet. At this time I'm using a wireless notebook network card,but I would like to go back using what came with the laptop.
Is there anything i could do to get back the signal

Does your internal wireless adapter show up in Device Manager when you expand the listing for Network Adapters? Does is show up in Network Connections?

To help troubleshoot this problem, on the computer with the problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Do this while the internal network adapter is attempting to make the connection and without the added wireless network adapter connected. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

Is that the complete output of the ipconfig command? I don't see where it is getting a dns server address (which should be from your router. Is there a reason you have set a static IP address on the wireless adpater? If not, then you should set this back to dynamic. To do this, open Network Connections, right click your wireless connection (Intel 2200) and select Properties. Find the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), select it, then click on the properties button. Put a check mark next to "Obtain an IP address automatically", and, if necessary, put a check mark next to "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
