connectivity problem
I have a latitude D800 w/ dell truemobile 1300. But I also use an aronet 350 card.
I have unsuccessfully tried to get onto the internet at work. The 1300 is an internal card. The Aronet is inserted. I am attempting to get on using the 1300, while the Aronet is not inserted. I used the Aronet 350 at a university, and no longer need it.
PCI/PnP Network shows: Broadcom 802.11g Wireless NIC.
Windows Network shows: Broadcom 570 x Gigabit Integrated Controller and Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN mini-PCI Card.
Broadcom 802.11g?? Dell TrueMobile 1300 b/g??
The Network at work uses 802.11b.
The Notifications tray indicates that I am connected, but I am unable to communicate.
Could the problem be the card? What is the relationship b/t TrueMobile and Broadcom??
Could the configuration for the Aronet card be causing problems with TrueMobile?

Not likely that the Aronet card is causing problems.
Are you getting a proper IP address and gateway? [ipconfig /all]
Don't worry about the b/g designation. 802.11g cards are backward compatible with the 802.11b standard.

Try removing any encryption on the router and the card.
Disable any firewalls.
Reboot.

I have the proper IP address. What else can you think of?

You might try to allow windows to repair the connection. (double click on the connection icon and select the Support tab).
If that doesn't fix the problem, you might try lspfix:

If that doesn't work, my little brain cells have no other suggestions.
