Connectivity problems
I recently purchased a refurbished Latitiude C610. I had no problems networking it at home for internet. For some reason now I cannot. There is a message that a network cable is unplugged. I swear I did not unplug anything. I also receive a window when I boot the computer stating: "C:\program~1\newdot~1\newdot~1.dll The specified module could not be found"
I have Windows XP professional.
Thanks for your assistance.

Of course, possibly someone removed the Spyware from your system but not the thing that tries to launch it.
If you truly have a network problem, you need to describe the network you are connecting to. This could be nothing more than someone unplugged the broadband router or modem. Who set your home network up? If you are not able to reach the DHCP function in the broadband router you may end up with an incompatible IP address.
A starting point is to go to a DOS Command Prompt window and do a IPCONFIG /all.
Good Luck.
