Converting From Dial-Up to Wireless High Speed Internet

I have a Dimension 4700 desktop computer.  I bought it in Feb of 2005.  I will be entering into a two year agreement with a communications company who will provide this wireless service.  They advertise their wireless service is designed to the Wi-Max ethernet standard.  They call their own offering "Wi-Power".  The operating system is Windows XP Professional.  On the rear panel of the CPU, in addition to several USB connector ports, there is a connector that looks like a telephone jack but is larger in size.  My purchase invoice list a "Intel Pro 100M Integrated PCI NIC Card (430-0412)".  The device manager also shows this card as being installed without a device attached.

The company has asked me if my computer is "ethernet compatible", i.e., is it capable of connecting to their "ethernet router"?

Can someone tell me if the answer to this question is yes based on the above info.?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, your computer has an integrated ethernet network adapter and should be capable of connecting to their ethernet router.
