Dell 2100 NetBook Wireless problems
Hello, we recent purchased a large order of Dell 2100 Netbook's. I have had to send 5 of them now to be "fixed" after the wireless no longer works.
Wireless is enabled in BIOS
Wireless driver is correct, shows up in device manager and gives no errors. When I look for wireless signal it finds none, when we have dense coverage of 802.11N. I have swapped wifi cards and it still will not work(telling me that both cards are good).
When I get the machines back they do not tell me what they fixed. The little blue LED does not come on.
We have 485 of these things so I want to figure out if there is anything that I can do to fix this.
Any ideas?

What I would to is get a USB wireless device. Install it. See if that works.
This will determine if it is a hardware or a software issue (firewall, etc).

We have no USB devices, these are K12 machines. I just had two more brought down to me like this. For some reason they just dont see the wireless. I am thinking I need to get a hold of our dell rep.

Also, it cant be a software issue because we use DeepFreeze 6 to lock the kids out. I even reimmaged one of them with zenworks and it does the same thing. I am at a complete loss.
