Dell 4500 Network adaptor Ethernet 10/100

I reinstalled windows xp home edition on my Dell 4500 (bought around 2001 - if that helps anyone) and havent changed any of the devices.

All my hardware works except from my Intel Network Adaptor, I have tried almost every driver I had at my disposal but cannot find the correct driver. It keeps coming up with code 10 error.

I would appricate any help, thanks

If it has not been installed already, download and install the Intel 800 Series Chipset driver package for your system.

Unfortunately, the service tag in your Dell Support profile does not match a Dimension 4500. Without a correct service tag, I cannot check your order and verify the exact brand and model of network card installed within your system. A list of possibilities can be found here.

Thanks for the quick responce!

Im going to try the R41334.exe and the R48857.exe files.

Thanks again

When I tried to install the R48857.exe it didn't come up with the Pro/100 m ethernet adaptor or Pro/100 m desktop adaptor. It only comes up with a large list of intel drivers except the two stated before. Please help me!

I cannot be of further assistance without correct Service Tag information. Please update your profile with your Dimension 4500's Service Tag.
