Hi Jaggie 345,
How gradually was the signal lost? Have you updated the driver for your wireless card? (Which wireless card is installed in the system and what operating system?). Also, have you rebooted your router and see if that helps the connection? (You power down your laptop, pull the power plug out of the router for about 30 seconds, then plug the power back in. Once the router is FULLY back up and running then restart your laptop and see if the wireless connection is better)
Here is a link to the Dell Networking & Wireless Support Center where you can find a lot of other things that you can try to do to troubleshoot and resolve this problem. It's the first place I would recommend you start with to find out what is going on.
To better help me troubleshoot this question please click on my Dell Todd username and send me a private message with the Dell Service Tag of your D630 and I'll see what else I can suggest. Please keep all troubleshooting and other discussions here in this public thread so that others, with the same questions, can see what we try to do to resolve it.
Thank you,
Todd
