Dell D810 BlueTooth and Wifi

Hi all!

I am using a Latitude D810 with internal Intel Pro Wireless b/g Wireless 2200 nic and an internal DellTrueMobile350 bluetooth nic. The installed drivers are the ones that came with the laptop.

I do have a problem when both are enabled (power on/radio on):

When the bluetooth is on then the WLAN does not work anymore. It doesn't matter how close I am to the accesspoint. When I disable (power off) bluetooth then the WLAN will not automaticly start working again, I need to disable and re-enable the radio or do a "repair" function (XP).

When I use an external WLAN adapter (PCCard) then this card will work just fine, whether bluetooth is enabled or not.

Does anybody have the same problem? And, does anybody know how to solve this?

Thanks!

Marrik

I have exactly the same problem.  Unfortunately I've been on hold for a total of 90 minutes trying to reach Dell technical support to resolve this issue.  I am so disappointed with Dell's commitment to technical support and the incredibly poor way they handle calls. You're just left in the dark.  I've talked to two people while on hold and both said they couldn't help.  ....  Ok.  I just talked to technical support.  They helped me boost the power to the wireless card.  It looks like it worked.  Right click on My Computer.  I also downloaded a new driver  r107434.exeis the driver name.  It is supposed to increase the power.  Jeremy helped me.  He was great.  Direct line for wireless is 800-822-8965 x.1 then extension 7246008.  Hope this helps.

Hi ca-matt!

Thanks for your reply!

What did you do when you right clicked "My computer"? Open "Manage" and updated the driver?
And where can you download the driver? I can't seem to find it.

I will call Dell here as well. I have Business Support, they should reply to me asap... :)
