Dell E6530 Sim Card not found

Question

One of our users has the Dell E6530 with a WWAN card in it. It also has a sim card slot behind the battery. Recently, he started getting a message that the sim card is missing. So naturally, we checked, it wasn't there and I called Verizon to get another card. They said they would send one out, then we never received it. So I called back and they said they determined that it was the wrong sim card and that the user wouldn't even need it unless they  were traveling outside the country, which he does not. They said that the E6530 would use the WWAN card that is built in. So I've taken the thing apart three times, checking wires and reseating the card. But we're still getting the same error message. Can anyone offer clarification?

emmiejolopez, Try booting into the bios F2  and set the bios to defaults to see if that will get rid of the message.

I tried that but I'm still getting the same result.
