Ahsan Mughal,

You reinstalled Windows?

Did you use the recovery partition, Dell Data Safe disks or do a manual installation?

Ahsan Mughal,

Did you install the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Ahsan Mughal,

Download and install...

Dell SRV,SW,DSS,VOS,1220

Intel HM67 Express Chipset Family

Intel Management Engine Interface

Realtek RTS5138 Card Reader

Wistron USB3.0-Host Controller

Install the drivers for your wireless adapter, then the bluetooth adapter. If you're not sure which one you have, click on Dell Warranty Status enter your service tag number, then original configuration.

The download and install Dell Quickset.

What happens, now?

Ahsan Mughal,

Bluetooth drivers are most likely with your wireless adapter. Do you know which wireless adapter you have installed?

If not, try running Finding System Information at the bottom you see the network adapters.

Ahsan Mughal,

Try these drivers...

Dell Wireless 1702 802.11 b/g/n, BT3.0+HS

Remember to install Dell Quickset after you install these drivers.

Ahsan Mughal,

Then click start, in search type

bttray

click on it. It will put the bluetooth icon in the system tray, near the clock. It can be enabled there or it can be enabled at...

start, control panel, windows mobility center.

Ahsan Mughal,

Right click on the drivers, then left click on properties. Change the drivers to Vista Compatibility mode (i would try Vista SP2) and see if they install.

i did the same as you ask me to do,, i downloaded the software as well as quick set and then installed the both, then i get into the start menu and type "bttray" and enter on it. then a icon appears on my taskbar near my battery sign and then i tried to open the adapter but the sign just disappears and nothing happens, you can take a look at my device manager and the error coming into the software as well, check out the snap Dear Rick
