Dell Latitude C600 internet driver?

Hello,

I have a Dell Latitude C600 laptop that had Windows 2000 or 98 on it. Our family hadn't used it for a couple of years; I found it recently in our basement and no one remembered the password, so I reformatted it to Windows XP. However, when I tried to use the Dell Latitude C600 network driver for that laptop, it didn't work - mainly because the driver was made for Windows 98/2000, not XP.

Are there any newer drivers that work for the old Dell Latitudes as well as XP? I would really appreciate help with this.

I've already read about network cards, I can't afford one of those, I'm working to barely pay for my bills. I am planning on using it wirelessly.
