Dell Pc - Windows XP - error code 10 – ‘This device cannot start’

Question

I tried to install McAfee 2011 on my pc and now I am unable to access the internet. I am running on XP. The msg on internet explorer says no wireless network cards installed. I have checked the network connection properties and found one of the network adapters has error code 10 – ‘This device cannot start’. Given I no longer have access to the internet to download drivers etc, how can I resolve this problem? thx
