I had completed virus and trojan scans, downloaded the latest firmware for both the router and the Studio one and I noticed that even though I couldn't get on the internet, the guage for connectivity was excellent - finally I decided to change the Channel on the router which was on 1, to Channel 6 ... and solved the problem. There had been too much "noise" on the previous channel and 11 which is the usual channel was full from other wireless stations in the area. Prior to this I had suspected that I would need a higher channel and had to download new drivers for the dell card which only uses the lower channels. Thanks for your reply and help.

Hi and welcome to Dell Community :emotion-1:

A few questions so I can get a better picture of what is happening:

Have you  tried switching back to your old router temporarily to see if it still works (except for picking up wireless solar inverter info)?

Have you checked to see  if you need to download the latest firmware for the router from the manufacturer's site?

Have you run any security scans -- anti-virus, etc? Have you tried resetting the router since you installed it?

Considering that it is a new router, have you tried asking Netgear Support about this?
